The 1-2-1 Indiana Cutters fell on Saturday in a dominating performance by the 4-0 West Indy Bravados with a final score of 22 to 6.
All game long, the Cutters’ offensive line had difficulties stopping the rushing attack of the Bravados and the Cutters offense struggled to stay on the field. Quarterback for the Cutters, Zach Harrison, went down early in the 3rd quarter with a foot injury and was replaced by Chaz Norton. With 3:05 left in the 4th quarter, the Cutters scored their first touchdown of the game when Chaz Norton connected with Sidney Moore for 6.
The Cutters’ defense had a solid performance as they were able to hold the Bravados to 8 at halftime. The Cutters’ defense was led by linebacker Tyrell Williams on Saturday. 22 points were given up when the final buzzer sounded but they never gave up. The difficulties on the defensive end can be spotted with their lack of pressure on the opposing quarterback. Bravados QB accumulated over 200 yards passing.
The Cutters are off this weekend and will go on the road to Noblesville, July 27th to take on the Warriors in what looks to be a matchup with playoff implications.
